Activities ……..jpg)
Walking
is the best start. Walking strengthens your heart, improves
flexibility, stretches muscles, and maintains bones. It’s a way of
exploring the world and once you take that first step, new horizons will
appear.

Hiking
is the logical expansion of walking, requiring a higher level of energy
and activity. Hills = heavy breathing = stronger heart.
Hikes are not a destination, but an expansion of life’s activities
around us as we increase our strength and endurance. You hike at your own
pace and no one is left behind.

Snowshoeing
and Cross Country Skiing are ways of staying active in the
winter months using different muscles and exploring new surroundings.
Biking
opens new passages into a world of pleasure riding. Rides are mostly on
rail trails with no traffic, only nature to enjoy. Biking exercises
different muscles and joints than walking or hiking.
